Parting of the Waters In
the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, nestled
within the vast Yellowstone ecosystem, lies a
natural wonder. A mountain stream cascades to
the valley floor and divides creating two creeks
that flow into two great oceans of the world
- The Atlantic and the Pacific. Nowhere else
in America is such a place found. The "Parting
of the Waters" -- half flows east and half flows
west. Atlantic and Pacific Creeks, teeming with
cutthroat trout migrating from Yellowstone Lake,
flow through the high mountain region known as
Two Ocean Pass. The majestic herds of Yellowstone
elk, deer and moose feed here, and the wildflowers
fill the meadows with every color of the rainbow.
It is here that John Winter, expert guide and
outfitter, has established his summer camp for
trout-fishing, hiking, photography, riding and
relaxation. A veteran of many years of wilderness
outfitting, Winter combines the excitement of
the wilderness with the safety and comfort of
the best in mountain camping. Daily rides from
the main camp to the Yellowstone River - and
on to Bridger Lake - give visitors a feel for
the heritage of the area. History abounds in
this area where the early Indian tribes summered
followed by the early fur trappers and traders.
Guests experience the same wonder that the first
explorers and mountain men must have felt when
they came here more than a century ago. Teddy
Roosevelt traveled and hunted this
very area in the late 1800's and you will travel
in the same manner -- on horseback with food
and gear packed by strings of mules.
Come join us at Two Ocean Pass and experience
life at the T.O.P. of the World for an exciting
yet peaceful trip into some of the most beautiful
wilderness country in the entire world. Bring
your entire family, business associates, fishing

group already scheduled and you can make new
friends - what a memorable vacation for any adventure
