Rates & Application Info
Hunt
on Horseback in Famous "Two Ocean Pass' Country.
Teddy Roosevelt's favorite Big Game Hunting Area in the
Teton and Washakie Wilderness of Wyoming.
Our
high country hunting camp is located twenty-five miles horseback
into the Teton Wilderness area from the buffalo Valley near
Moran Wyoming. We hunt our resident elk herd throughout
the season and pick up the elk migration to the Jackson
Hole elk refuge in late October. Hunting success in our
high country camp speaks for itself with an annual 85%+
success ratio.
Our Two Ocean Pass Camp sits
in the middle of approximately
one hundred square miles of prime
elk, deer and moose habitat and
gives the serious hunter the
best opportunity possible to
harvest the game of choice. Our
late season elk hunts occur in
the Cody County where much of
the Yellowstone Park Elk Herd
migrates for the Winter Season.
These hunts are fair chase and
not a "firing line" situation
as is the case during the migration
in Teton Park.
The Winter family has been guiding and outfitting in this
remote wilderness near Yellowstone National Park between
Cody and Jackson Hole since 1946. Horses and mules will
take you and your equipment to hunting camp and into the
areas you will be hunting. We take pride in providing T.O.P.
camp cooking and accommodations - check with our references.
We look forward to hunting with you this fall.
